I am always on the hunt for a really good shampoo bar, there are many on the market but few that really cut the mustard. From the first time I discovered Sophia I was hooked on her products, she is a chemist by trade but along with her love of the sea she has created products from nature that actually work.

This pH-balanced solid shampoo bar made with gentle biodegradable surfactants cleanses your hair without irritation and nourishes your curls and waves with just a regular hot water rinse

How does it care for my hair?

Argan and Jojoba oils gently condition your hair. Wheat protein and neem oil moisturise and nourish curls. Tiny flecks of dark green you see in the bar are pieces of seaweed that add very gentle exfoliation to the skin and scalp. This Kelpie shampoo bar is gently fragranced with Bergamot and Cypress essential oils with earthy, nutty tones from the neem oil.

How long will it last?

Around 40 washes or two bottles of plastic shampoo, it will do best kept dry between washes so store on a soap dish, if storing in the tin it may not stay solid so would suggest popping a little water in with it, swirl it around to dissolve the product and use from there.

How to use a solid shampoo bar

Rub the bar directly onto your hair or lather in your hands do the tops first you may want a second wash all over and then rinse, if you want a more conditioned feel use the lather on the ends and wait for 1-2 minutes or longer as required, try to rinse your hair in cool/luke warm water for best shiny hair results
